The Peter Richley Photograph Collection of The Revs Institute

Revs Institute® Archives

Total Items: 253

The Peter Blair-Richley Collection includes thousands of black and white images collected by lifelong motor car enthusiast Peter Blair-Richley. Many of the images are press and publicity photos Mr. Richley gathered at auto shows in London and Paris over several decades, but he also collected amateur photography, particularly photo albums of early motoring tours. He had a profound interest in Bugatti and luxury British marques like Bentley and Rolls-Royce and this is reflected in his files. He also had an eye for rarity and avidly collected photographs of custom body cars. In addition, Richley collected several thousand automotive themed postcards and prints dating from the Edwardian Era through the 1990s.
